Our pashmina shawl is hand-loomed by the skilled weavers of Nepal as they have been doing for centuries. Nepal has some of the highest quality pashmina in the world. Each Spring the wool from the capra hircus goat is culled from their inner coat. These goats survive one of the harshest climates in the World - the Himalayan Mountains of Nepal - living at elevations of over 14,000 feet.
