The coloured yarns used for weaving are wrapped around small spindle -shaped wooden sticks are called "Tooji". Jamawar Shawl is a special type of shawl made in Kashmir with elaborately woven designs provides a total new look to your attire. It is widely known as a jamawar. Kings and courtiers are supposed to have bought this by the yard (war) and wore it as a gown or robe (jama ).
