Daljiyah works in the ancient Javanese tradition of batik to create this exquisite shawl. Painted by hand, the white motifs complement the brown and green patterns, which are stamped by hand. The kembang motif depicts flowers, while the squared ceplock can represent flowers, leaves or fruit. Melati means "jasmine." Due to the nature of handcrafted batik, the colors and their placement can vary slightly.
